Woody wins supreme champion at Northumberland County Show 2013

Chestnut Farm is yet again celebrating another winning performance from Chestnut Farm Lord of Sherwood. Our attendance at the Northumberland County Show 2013 resulted in a 1st Adult White Male, this then resulted in winning Champion White Male followed by the delight of winning  Supreme Champion, needless to say we are all overwhelmed by our success on the day.

Results for the rest of our show team were above our own expectations, Chestnut farm Razzle Dazzle came a resounding 3rd in Junior White Male, the class had  10 entries which consisted of some fine animals showing how selective breeding is having some amazing results.

Chestnut Farm Dizzy Lizzy came 2nd in Junior White Female, although it was such a tense class and the judging seemed to go on forever for that much coveted 1st and 2nd, we only narrowly missed that 1st, but still a well deserved 2nd.

Chestnut farm had not only a fantastic days outing but met some wonderful people both akin breeders and members of the public, we are looking forward to our return visit next year.
