Chestnut Farm are pleased to be able to offer stud services from our stunning Champion White Male Chestnut Farm Defiant.
Defiant produced two lovely chunky female cria for us in 2023, one of them being Chestnut Farm Brandy Snap who was awarded 2nd Junior Fawn Female and Reserve Champion Fawn Female at the Northumberland County Show 2024.
Defiant is an outstanding male with correct confirmation and great substance of bone, he has a true to type head style.
His fleece is highly organised throughout the blanket and into the extremities, his fleece shows fineness and density and is incredibly bright, it has a lovely soft handle and a very low ratio of strong primary fibres.
Defiant is sired by Beck Brow Ammunition who has produced some lovely offspring for us, Ammunition is sired by Beck Brow Explorer.
Defiant’s dam is Chestnut Farm Cassie who is a champion in her own right and is sired by our Supreme Champion Chestnut Farm Lord of Sherwood, so this young male has some great genetics in his pedigree.

Inca Nobleman

We are very excited to introduce our new light brown stud male Inca Nobleman.
We will be releasing a few outside matings to this outstanding young male.
He has an exceptionally soft handling, fine fleece that is incredibly dense and bright.
His fleece is organised within the staple length and is consistent over the blanket and into the extremities.
His first fleece was an impressive 14.6 microns and he is maintaining this fineness as he matures.
Nobleman has a real stand out presence in the paddock and is a striking looking male, he has a pleasing head type and correct confirmation with great substance of bone.
This male has a lovely quiet temperament and is easy to handle.
Nobleman’s first cria were born in 2022 and can be viewed here at Chestnut Farm.
Nobleman has a great depth of colour in his pedigree and we are hopeful this will take us forward with our coloured breeding program.
Nobleman’s sire is Surtierra Shadow and his Grandsire is Lavender Park Tully so this male carries some excellent genetics.
